Our Guarantee
If you aren't completely happy with your Kindermusik experience after attending at least five classes, we'll refund or credit all of your tuition except for the cost of At Home Materials (which are yours to keep and enjoy) and the annual registration fee, which is non-refundable. Refunds are not otherwise considered.
Referral Rewards Program
Many of our customers are so happy with their Kindermusik class at Hearts and Minds Music that they tell their friends about us. For each referral that you send us (a completed enrollment), we give you a free "Best of Kindermusik" CD. Thank you!
Enrollment Confirmation
A registration form and payment must be received before your child's place in class will be reserved. If we cannot accommodate your requested time, we will contact you to find out if you prefer to be placed on a waiting list, enrolled in the same class on a different day or time, or offered a full refund. You will receive a confirmation phone call, e-mail or mailed notice within two weeks of receipt of both your registration form and payment. Registrations are not complete and will not be confirmed by us until we receive payment.
Holidays
For the Fall 2008 semester, there will be no classes held on Rosh Hashanah (September 30), Yom Kippur (October 9), Columbus Day (October 13), the week of Thanksgiving, and the Christmas/New Year's holiday period (December 22 through January 5). Specific classes may also have other days off due to one-day holidays or other events. We will publish these dates in the welcome letter sent to each family registered in a particular class. We are holding classes on Election Day and Veterans Day.
Cancellations & Make-ups
In the event of inclement weather (snow, ice, etc), we will put an announcement on the home page of this website as early as we are able to assess the conditions.
Classes will be made up at the end of the semester in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather.
We are happy to allow students who miss a class to make up a class if another class is available, but please schedule the make-up in advance with us.
Siblings and sibling discounts
Due to limited class size, space constraints and the delicacy of the younger class settings, Village and Our Time classes can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay contented in a car seat, baby carrier (such as a Baby Bjorn) or stroller. Emergency exceptions are considered.
A tuition discount of $35 is given for the 2nd child enrolled in the same class as a sibling. If paying by credit card, please use the sibling add-to-cart buttons when checking out. If paying by check, please subtract $35 from the regular class fee.
A tuition discount of $10 may be taken for the 2nd child enrolled in a different class. Ask about home materials discounts if you have home materials for the current unit from a previous enrollment. Unfortunately, our credit card system cannot yet accomodate these discounts. If you qualify for one or the other or both, please pay by check.
